Short Description:
This product consists of a self-contained biological indicator composed of Bacillus stearothermophilus spores, culture medium (sealed in a glass tube) and a plastic shell. The bacterial content of the bacterial slices is 5 × 105 ~ 5 × 106cfu / piece. D value is 1.3 ~ 1.9 minutes. Under the condition of 121 ℃ ± 0.5 ℃ saturated steam, the survival time is ≥3.9 minutes and the killing time is ≤19 minutes.
Application scope
It is used to monitor the sterilization effect of the down- exhaust pressure steam at 121 ℃, pre-vacuum pressure steam at 132 ℃ and pulsating vacuum pressure steam.
Usage
1.Put this product into a standard test package；
2.According to national regulations, put the test package in different positions in the pressure steam sterilizer；
3.After sterilization, remove the biological indicator；
4.Squeeze the glass tube inside and put the indicator in a 56 ℃ -58 ℃ incubator together with a control tube；
5.Result determination after cultivation for 48 hours: the color of the medium changes from purple to yellow, indicating that the sterilization process is incomplete. If the color of the culture medium remains unchanged, it can be judged that the sterilization is complete.
Cautions
1.After sterilization, remove the biological indicator and cool it for at least 15 minutes before squeezing the glass tube insider. Otherwise, fragments of the glass tube may cause injury.
2.Only the control tube is positive, the biological test result is considered valid.
3.Before use, please confirm the integrity of the product。
4.Please store in a dark place at a temperature of 2-25 ° C and a relative humidity of 20% -80%.
5.Biological indicators should be kept away from sterilizers and chemical disinfectants.
6.Please use within the validity period.
