B-D Test Pack
Short Description:
This product is packed by tape, including B-D test paper, breathable material, crepe paper. It is suitable for the detection of air removal effect of pre-vacuum pressure steam sterilizer.
Application scope
Suitable for the detection of air removal effects of pre-vacuum pressure steam sterilizers, for routine monitoring of sterilizers, verification when designing sterilization procedures, determination of the effect of the installation and commissioning of the new sterilizer, determination of the performance of the sterilizer after repair.
Usage
When using this product, it is not required to be used in conjunction with the standard test kit specified in the 《Technical Standard For disinfectant》. The test kit is placed directly at the exhaust port of the sterilizer. After closing the door, the B-D test procedure of 134℃ for 3.5 minutes was performed. After the program is completed, open the door, take out the test pack, take the test paper out of the test pack, and interpret the results.
Result determination:
Passed: The pattern of the test paper becomes uniform dark brown or black, that is, the central part and the edge part are of the same color. The B-D test is passed, indicating that the air is completely removed, and the sterilizer works well without leakage and can be used normally.
Failed: The pattern of the test chart has no discoloration or uneven discoloration. Usually the central part is lighter than the edge part. The B-D test is failed, indicating that the air is not completely removed or leaked. The sterilizer is faulty and must be inspected and repaired.
Cautions
1. When the test pack is stored and used, it is forbidden to contact with acid and alkaline substances and should not be damp (relative humidity should be less than 50%).
2.Stored in the dark, protected from ultraviolet light, fluorescent lights and sunlight.
3. The test is carried out under steam conditions of 134℃ for a period of not more than 4 minutes.
4. The test is carried out in an empty pot before the first sterilization every day.
5. This product can not be used for the detection of pressure steam sterilization effect.
